ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian practiced for the first time Thursday since injuring his left nonthrowing shoulder against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.Siemian did some throwing in the initial open period of practice at the Broncos' training facility, though it was limited.Siemian suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday's 27-7 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Denver Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said quarterback Trevor Siemian took a "big step forward'' in Thursday's practice as Siemian tries to work through a left (nonthrowing) shoulder injury.Siemian, who was held out of Wednesday's practice, threw in Thursday's practice as he took part in seven-on-seven work as well as individual drills.Siemian, who left the Broncos' win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just before halftime, has said he expects to start Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

(CBS4) – Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak says quarterback Trevor Siemian was officially "limited" in practice Thursday, taking individual and 7-on-7 reps.Kubiak said it was a big step forward for Siemain, who sat out all of Wednesday's practice with his left shoulder injury, but the coach said he wouldn't get ahead of himself with whether or not Siemian will be able to play Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.He said they need to see how Siemian responds to the work and how sore he continues to be.Kubiak said again Thursday that Siemian is not someone they would worry about playing on limited practice.

After sitting out Wednesday's practice, quarterback Trevor Siemian returned to practice on Thursday in a limited fashion.It's always a positive sign when a player practices but throwing a football doesn't really ease any of the concerns we have about Siemian's health.He injured his non-throwing shoulder, so I didn't think his ability to throw a football was ever in question.
